Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toniz Collins is also referred to as Antonietta Gonzales-Collins in the United States and Mexico, is a Mexican-American sportscaster. She works as an ESPN news anchor and hosts SportsNation often. The first time she worked for ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter television journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is bilingual since her age of nine. Her skill was instrumental in securing her first post as a an assistant to the production team at Univision Miami in which she worked with the producers of programs including Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. In 2009, the CBS affiliate located in St. Petersburg hired her after this as the sports reporter. In 2009, she moved in Rio Grande Valley to work as a journalist at KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. She covered stories about the issue of immigration and trafficking drugs throughout Texas as well as Mexico. She was also frequently required to act as an anchor for sports and weather. Deportes 23 was Univision Dallas affiliate and she assumed other responsibility. She wrote for sports like the NBA, Dallas Cowboys' postseason, NBA ALDS ALCS World Series or Finals FC Dallas. She also hosted on the regional Univision 23 sports show Accion Deportiva Extra. Then, she became the sports host on the morning show that is Despierta America Deportes. The same job was held in Primer Impacto magazine and Contacto Deportivo for the UniMas Network. Antonietta Collin's parents are originally from Veracruz Mexico. The city of Mexico City she was conceived on November 22nd 1985. There is an older sister. The family in 1992 left Mexico and relocated to Miami. Her parents divorced soon after and in 1995 her mother got married to a naval architect called Fabio Fajardo who passed away from kidney cancer in 2006. Her residence was with her family in Canton Ohio with her older sister in the summertime in which she was offered an opportunity to work. Antonietta was just graduating from high school, but was already aware of her plans for what she would be doing. In the end, she was a fan of the university and that they had the kind of program she was searching for. She graduated from high school and enrolled into media school at the University. Professor Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was a part of the class, established an ongoing relationship with the student. His passion for journalism and confidence in herself encouraged her. In turn, she, tried to meet the standards he set and to not disappoint him.
